Area of Research: I am working on the ab initio modeling of single-molecule magnets and organic molecular magnets. Various strategies are employed to fine-tune the zero-field splitting parameters to obtain promising candidates as single-molecule magnets. Employing ab initio and DFT techniques, my aim is to enhance and improve the magnetic properties in transition metal and lanthanide metal-based single-molecule magnets. I am also involved in the designing principles of high-spin organic diradicals based on the super-stable Blatter’s radical with the aim to obtain superior diradicals with significant magnetic exchange interactions.

Awards and Achievements:
1. Best poster presentation prize on research scholar’s day in INST.
2. Sponsored by DST with International Travel Grant to attend the 8th European Conference on Molecular Magnetism, July 2022, held in Rennes, France.
